So then do you like bluegrass music? That instrument seems permantly linked to it. And I hear it all the time around here. For the most part I find it annoying but some of it isn't too bad.

No, not really bluegrass - think more along the lines of old rusty sounding turn of the last century german carnival music. I could have just said, "Think Tom Waits" but I didn't.

There's just something about the sounds that make that makes my rage grow astronomically.

Wow - I love all three of those instruments and use them regularly in my own music! I love instruments that teenagers hate - you truley want to rebel? Pick up an accordion, or dig on a slide whistle or xylophone. I'm also a fan of texture in sound so those instruments are right up my alley.

Heh...I think its kind of nutty...but nutty is good. The nuttier you get the more awesome you become. Now, to be fair, the grat Weird Al did make the accordian cool. Hmm, I think I might understand what you mean by "texture in sound." I'm an artist and love putting texture into my work. It's really just an illusion. But if I read you right you're meaning something like "the music has a tangible feel to it. You feel the smoothness or roughness of a note?"

Jamie, what do you have on your arms and legs in the banjo shot? I first thought that you were oiled up, but in the other pix it appears to be latex sleeves/leggings.

It is in fact latex - clear latex to be exact - which isn't really clear, that's just what latex looks like if they don't add any dye... I thought a skin tone latex would work well with the country girl thing...

I LOVE Dropkick Murphys so hell yeah I am a fan of the accordian and banjo...and Jamie! :)
